Don't watch it regularly but catch small snippets! Love the drama and intrique! The flashbacks are pretty interesting! Didn't see it last night...was it good?

I think it is an alien experiment and the island doesn't really exist on earth. Also, I think that the back end of the plane that was never found also contained survivors which are on the other side of this island, which is why Michelle Rodriguez's character was introduced last night. She was sitting in 42F and I think I recall that this part of the plane was not found. I am also suspicious about who could be Alex, Danielle's daughter.

Frankly, I think I am thinking far too much about this. I love this show!! haha

Maybe they are the others the French girl was talking about.....and the black smoke is a rescue signal

It is all very confusing because it would make sense that the black smoke was a rescue signal but Danielle said that this smoke happened 16 years ago before the others came. Unless she made it up because she is part of the bad people and she spied on the other survivors and knew they were building a fire and used that to make her story believable.

I like your theory too about being in limbo after death. I have also read that they all have improved their lives or escaped their bad realities by being on this island, although I don't know if Boone wanted to die.

One more episode until the fall......I sure there will be some crazy cliff hangers...but I won't mind watching the reruns this summer searching for clues I missed before.

No, the black smoke is actually coming from the 7 castaways that have been on this island for over 30 years. One of them, the professor, built a smoke-signal machine from coconuts and monkey dung.

Actually, I love this show and it's a must-watch on Wednesdays in the Casa de Tex's.

I agree with you...42F seemed to be brought up for a reason during their conversation at the bar. Next week's episode will hopefully answer a few questions...but may leave us asking more questions.
