Torres del Carmen condo development?

Hi everybody:

Would love to know if y'all have any word/dirt/opinion on the Torres del Carmen condo development going up on 45th Ave.? I've been e-mailing with a realtor about possibly pre-construction-buying a 2-bedroom but would love any tips on whether the place seems shady, if it's in a bad part of town (I don't think it is ...), etc. They're represented by Riviera Maya Real Estate which I think I've read on these boards is a reputable firm, but I'm just trying to make sure I check everything out.

Also is $70K reasonable for a 2-bedroom in Playa these days or am I crazy? It seems like a good deal compared to a lot of the other places I've seen advertised, but again, local advice would be great.
