Could be she did a more recent cover of that; that's one I had to google, and Mandy is who came up.

I'll post the answers I used when creating this test tomorrow, or the day after. The intention was that the questions be available for consideration for a few days - not everybody looks at the Forum Fun Features sub-forum very frequently - so people might have a litle time to test their memories, rather than just scrambling off to Google and posting the answers that you can dig up there. We all know just about any kind of information is available if you want to dig it out, but where's the fun in that? Google and other similar sources are where I get the data for the quizzes, after all - but the idea wasn't to show off your ability to use a search engine. The notion was to give your memory and personal knowledge a work out, rather than merely regurgitating.

After we get this test put to bed, I'll be posting the last one in the series, which will be the one of music from the 60's. A lot of you won't have much of a chance with that one, just because of your ages, but some of us old farts might like to stretch our heads a bit - a worthwhile concept when you're over the hill...gotta' keep mentally active, y'know - so I'd appreciate it if you would give us senior citizens a crack at coming up with some answers before you Google the information and throw it out there. I could post the questions, and then just lock the thread so no replies are possible, but I'd prefer to leave it open so everybody can participate in the conversation. So stay tuned for the finale to the 80's and COMING SOON...THE FABULOUS 60'S

Wow, New Kids On The Block... took my daughter to see them at a mall back in... 89? It was a circus!

Okay, Bump, I'll wait for the Official answers later on. The 80's was the only one I was really going to have even a smattering of a chance on, and I only remembered about half of the songs. Ah well.... However, I do listen to some classic rock stations and a lot of that is '60's. Hubby might do better here, being as he's many, many (count 'em: SIX) years older than me!

I was a metal head in those days.... Got a pretty decent amount of them, but most are fluffy music that I wasnt touching with a ten foot pole back then.

Wow, you guys are good. I read through the entire list and picked up on Pink Floyd circa '79 and Mandy Moore as my only two beefs. I think in the 80's Mandy Moore was suckling on her mothers....well, nevermind.

There werent enough heavy metal and hair bands on the list for me to make much headway on my own.
