AAAHH Australian wines are my favorite...in particular Black Opal Shiraz, Wishing Tree Shiraz, Rams Leap and Selena Estate...all of which we keep on hand in our wine cabinet....wine with dinner is a must in our casa.

Sorry the Hubby has a problem,hope he's O.K. & you too.

I will give you some ideas in a p.m. within a day or so.Does he like soup? Creamed soups,i.e.Potato cheese, Cauliflower cheese, cream of asparagus,cream of onion, are nutricious,& don't need too much spice to stand on their own. Fish [baked with a light mayo coating & sprinkled with parmesan cheese?I have lots of experience cooking diabetic & heart healthy since diabetes runs in my family,& my Father -in -law & Mom-in-law both had bad heart trouble & both lived with me for varius periods of time.No spice sounds like ulcer or gastritus tho[I have that myself]lol. P.M. me & I'll help if'n I can!

On topic-I made BBQ pork chops,mashed potato,Cauliflower in cheese[alfredo] sauce and stir fried cabbage & sugar snap peas with onions.

It's just the babe and me tonight so we're doing the leftover thing. I'm having a Chipotle Burrito...YUM! and the little missy is having her fav frozen fish sticks and french fries right out of the freezer...no cooking necessary - sure makes my life easier.

Tomorrow night when hubby and the two older girls are home we'll be having Sweet and Sour Pork Tenderloin, red potatoes, green beans and bread.

We had late lunches so we ate light... foccaccia bread topped with red bell pepper, green onion, garlic and a smattering of mozzarella cheese... tossed green salad... fresh strawberries for dessert...

Tonight I heated up leftovers from last night. Ricotta/spinach tortilinis with olive oil/parmesan cheese.

Oh... and a paper cup of Crystal Light Raspberry Ice.

All eaten in my lap on the couch while watching Animal Planet.

We had chicken Seville...Spanish recipe with Chicken, ham, tomatoes and olives over a light bed of rice. Sausage and cheese stuffed mushrooms for apps along with avocado slices covered with this great sweet/sour salsa sauce with bacon crumbs over the top. Fresh organic asparagus with hollandaise sauce......with the apps we had a great chard and with the entree we had a great Spanish Priorat.....actually we had guests over making this a special night...normally we are good with anything on the BBQ (especially thick lamb chops) or a nite out at the cheap, and wonderful mexican restaurant!
