Nor the red wine, sadly. I wish!
Wait a minute! Exactly why can't I drink red wine every day?

Of course you can! It's even supposed to be healthy to drink a small glass a day or so....I just don't drink during the week....don't need the calories and it sometimes gives me a bit of a headache, even one glass .....this getting up at 5 AM thing is for the birds I tell you, the birds!

Tri tip on the grill, some grilled asparagus for the Mrs. orzo and artichokes for both of us. A bit of vino and a glorious sunset.
Life is very good.

Changed my mind and didn't go out tonight. Splurged and got a little 30 peso filet Mignon, pan seared with a few shrooms, some pimiento morron...sliced fresh tomato and some zesty rice. Washed down with cheap Emiliana cab from Valle central which was actually pretty good.....

Yesterday we discovered that there is actually a Jamaican restaurant here in Saskatoon...apparently it is really good....we are going here for dinner tonight.

Menu

I think I will have the Jerky Birdy or the Curry Chicken. And a Red Stripe, natch. And Rice and Peas- yay!

Not cheap but I read they important a lot of their ingredients right from Jamaica, so that is why.

I am going to two different Mexican fiesta's today-both birthday parties. The only thing I know for certain is that I will have beer, tequila, and something that is bound to give me butt burn later.

Chinese take-out here. Sorry, I don't like to cook on the weekends. Well truth be told, I don't like to cook much on weekdays either

However, I am always impressed with the elaborate menus some of you post here!
