I sure can't advise you what to do or would I want to, but we were in the same predicament. We have been watching prices since September. They have beem just going up and up. Wish we would have bought in Aug. or Sept. We bite the bullet and bought early last week for our Feb. trip NW/Delta out of Minneapolis. Two days later I check the prices again and they had gone up another $200. per ticket. So we were very glad we bought then. We have always bought in Aug. or Sept. We just though we would wait this year for a better deal. Learn our lession. Good luck.
