New Resort?

We were in Playa in March and I think I saw a new resort being built next to the Gran Porto Real. Did I? Is it done? Whats the name of it? Thanks.

You are probably referring to the Royal Porto Real. Not quite finished yet (been going on about a year I think) and quite pricey from what I gather.

Royal porto is 98.5% Finished. Just finishing up on Spa & Ballroom. All restuarants open AND Air Conditioned a definite plus+ pools, rooms etc.
If you would like some upto date photos taken 5/2005 visit tripadvisor.com as well as some recent wonderful reviews...if your thinking of the Royal I'd say GO FOR IT! Its beautiful AND its basically done..Good Luck!!

Just stayed there...very nice. Only 30% occupied right now. There is still construction going on. I think by mid-summer it will be 5-star. The resort is beautiful.
