Playa Peep Meeting in New Orelans?

As Seakony and myself will go to New Orleans once Nerak has left after the River Toobin Regatta we were wondering whether anybody living in the area wants to meet for a 'Hurricane' Party

(Seakony claims to know where they make great Hurricanes...

) Dates would be either 17th or 18th of August.

Anyone interested?

Of course we will have to check the wheather forecast before flying down. If they predict too much rain we can't go there (although unlike in Playa there should be a Hard Rock Cafe where we could hide

). Anyone have any experience how the wheather will be then?

This is in my neck of the woods so chances are I can make this one !!!!

Seems to me you should be checking with Yoga1970, as he/she is the acknowledged expert on "Hurricanes". And as far as stepping out of the inclement weather...yes indeed New Orleans does have a Hard Rock Cafe, and they do incredible pins, Mardi Gras theme and like that y'know. (Ain't I subtle?) Sorry we're headed North and West after the August Toobin', so won't be able to join you in Nawlins. Should be a great time, once you manage to dump that wet blanket Karen.

Okay, Bump, just for you we will hit the HRC!

Bump - will make a special trip for you to Hard Rock, take pics of all the pins and then email them to you so you can pick out the ones you want....

Dont worry about Hurricanes, you can never tell if and when one will hit.....just like the weather in the Tropics...if it rains, it will be clear again in an hour or two....

But it will be HOT HOT HOT !!!! If not from the August heat...from all the Cajun food !!!!!!
