You guys are making it very difficult to make wise choices for my 4 days in PDC. Too many places I want to try, guess this might be one of them. I'm writing it on my mapchick map, so I won't forget!

This is, far and away, my FAVORITE place to eat in Playa. Please do yourself a favor and make the trip. Its about a 7 to 10 minute walk from the south end of 5th ave. |

Well, we finally made it to HC today after going last year and not finding it (I believe it was closed last year).
It is without a doubt one of the best meals we have had in Playa. We are only here through Saturday, but I think we will be going back again before we leave. |

I'm finally checking in with my H C de Monterrey review! We went for lunch a week ago Friday, November 10th. Oh. My. Gosh. Unbelievably good! And I'm not even a big meat eater. It was wonderful and now hubby thinks I'm the smartest woman in the world for finding it.
Seriously, it was everything claimed and more. I wanted to go back a second time, but it never worked out. And...Funny thing, I could've sworn I recognized someone from a table of Americans there - a woman who looked like Susie Q's avatar. Now that I've seen the pics from the peep meet that night (which unfortunately we missed, due to a dinner that ran way late), I am sure that it was her. Not sure who the group with her was. Looks like we weren't the only peeps trying it out! Buzz |

Hi Susita,
No, I didn't notice the cat! We were sitting at the table beside you - I was facing your friends from Ohio, wearing a Texas Tech visor. You guys were finishing up within 5 minutes of our arrival, but I should've said something. Next time, I will. ![]() After lunch, we wandered through town, looking for a good margarita. I recognized Posada Freud, so we stopped and had a few with Jose. Jeff & Julie were there and I *did* introduce myself to them -- they knew I was from the forum when I told Jose "I've heard this place has great margaritas". Good times. I'd love to meet you next time. Buzz |

We ate there Sunday night...
Definitely bring folding money - preferably pesos... ![]() VERY local place and I didn't see any way for them to do on-cash transactions there. Our meals came to under $17 USD with soft drinks... We left a $200 Pesos bill and called it good. |
