That is correct. 5th avenue is a dead end street that does not intersect with Calle 1. Would love to show some one in person, but it would take me a plane ticket and a few hours travel time. Sounds good to me. Three more months before my next visit.

Anyone know their hours. I had one amazing lunch there ( the directions were excellect and the beef was AMAZING), but since then I have tried to go for dinner and both times they have been closed.
Am I just showing up a little late for 'cena' or are they really just lunch. PS this thread is so long, you might want to consider adding a FAQ so all the vitals can be at the top of the page. thanks for the info. peter www.funnyhypnotism.com |

I believe they try to wrap things up around 7PM or so... For a LATE night Arrachera flank steak, great soup - etc... try El Fogon in the north end...30th Ave... between 32nd and 34th Great friendly folks there too. They're open ALL through the night into the morning for the local folks (shift change) etc, to have a REALLY great place to eat... |

Just wanted to give a shout out to Stewart and thank him for suggesting this great place.
We had a wonderful meal there last month and I'm really looking forward to bringing my daughter there this weekend. She is a culinary student getting ready to go to Johnson & Wales in Charlotte and she and I are having one last Mother Daughter trip, what better place than Playa? |
