It genuinely sounded like a question in my head. It might bother me so much to actually put a pair of leather gloves in my cars at home. Come to think of it, I always do keep a pair of gloves in the cars...but stored with the spare tire.

I'm guessing it is a throw back from the olden days? I just googled...check this out....had no idea it can be called a "Jockey Box" as well....hmmmmm
