one thing you need to make sure is that the picture is no more than 120x120 pixels....other than that it needs to be in the right format like Karen mentioned...it tells you what format is supported when you upload.....Its usally the size that is the problem...lord knows I have changed my avatar enough to have any and all problems...its always the size that has got me....
