Anyone here travelled from Ireland to cancun? Which travel agent did you use and what airline. Currently researching for flights from Ireland so if anyone has info or advice that woud be fab!

We were going through Schiphol, Amsterdam last year. Martin Air: Amsterdam – Cancun.

This year we are going with Condor from Frankfurt.

I don't know if there are any direct flights from Ireland. And I suppose you are looking for the cheapest flight.

Hey Lisa,

I don't know too much about flights from Ireland, but I would recommend going Charter rather than Scheduled. With scheduled flights, you'll have the hassle of changing planes in USA, whereas Charter flights will take you straight there. It's a looooong flight!

We have flown with both First Choice and Britannia and found that they are just about as good as each other. The Departure Tax was included in the price of the First Choice flight, so we didn't have the hassle of sorting that out at the airport on the way back. We felt that we had a better seat pitch with Britannia, but they messed up the ordered meals.

I can't really help you with flights directly from Ireland to Cancun, but I know there are lots of flights from Ireland to Boston, New York and Chicago. You could get a fairly reasonably priced flight out of one of those cities to Cancun.

But FYI...I can't get anyone from Ireland to Cancun. They would have to either book the trip with a European vacation company, or at least get themselves to the USA before I could do anything for them. And to be honest, I don't have a clue about the vacation companies over thar so I couldn't even help steer!

But there are several members here from Europe and I'm sure they might chime in with suggestions...some already have!

When flying from the UK my parents fly on a charter flight.

The idea for the their current booking came from Jesus (thank-you sir). Look for his post about Manchester and start there.

KLM and Brittania usually have the best prices. Best I ever got from London was £230
