My opinion (after having mojitos about about 10 or 12 bars in PDC), the best mojito in PDC is at La Bodega Media in the shopping mall at the south end of 5th Ave. Unfortunately at 55 pesos or so and very, very small, they are not the best value. The second best mojito was at Babes (all the better for having had the opportunity to share them with Susie Q Roo!!!), was much larger, and was a much better value at 35 pesos!!! Bottom line, I would always go to Babe's, unless in the mood for Cuban music.
Just my two cents!!! |

Don't miss it next time. Remember, if you get a Playa Deal card you get 30% off!!! Also, if you haven't already, I would HIGHLY recommend getting a mapchick map for PDC. You will *NEVER* get lost or have trouble finding anything again!!! http://www.cancunmap.com/ Last edited by StewartG; 08-06-2005 at 10:48 AM.. |

Speaking of Mojitos - G2M (Donna) and I were trying to remember the drink that's JUST like a Mojito, but instead of crushing up mint for the drink, they crush up limes... Stefano made them for me at Chico Latino's, but I can't remember what they're called for the life of me... I think they're an italian version of the cuban mojito.
Anyone? I don't like to swallow vegetation when I imbibe, so I like the ones made with lime much better. I just wish I could remember what the hell they're called. Donna thought the name starts with a "C" - I dunno. |
