Executive car rental @ Cancun airport

I'm sure the answer is somewhere on the forum and I'm sorry for not having the time to search....gotta get packed...we're out of here late tomorrow afternoon...anyway, where is the location of the rental booth at the airport? We've always had arranged transportation before so I've basically walked thru the airport with blinders on to avoid the timeshare sharks. Thanks so much!

They're right on the left after red light/green light. They'll arrange transportation to the off-site agency. We used them last year and had no problems. Have a great time!

I have an even better idea. Just walk there. They are right across the street as you exit the charter terminal. Really big sign. Hard to miss. Just don't get run over .Ps I have used Executive before with great results. My only complaint is their web site lately doesn't seem to do addition correctly. They will quote a rate of say $20.00 a day, but when you rent for a week, it will tack on extra money to the total. Very frustrating. Didn't have that problem before

That would be one toasty walk with luggage! I'd rather they just gave me the ride.

You could pay a porter. And the porter can take the toasty walk. When I did that a few years ago, the porter was either guilty of over acting or seriously disappointed that he was unlucky enough to find the one gringo with a ton of luggage that was walking all the way over to Executive.

Be sure to check your reservation with Executive. We reserved a car back in March (tasking order) for our June trip and on my two week prior check (alert order) of reservations they had lost it. The email response was that there was no availability for the dates. Canceled that reservation and got a new one with confirmation the next day. Used them in the past with no problems and if we drive away in a car then the problem is fixed. At least in our case their computer had a brain fart so check and be sure.

Suzy, how much luggage are you packin, that it would exhaust you to walk across the street? Are you one of these girls who brings her own pillow?

Ooops, I was seriously thinking of taking my pillow...the suitcase is full so that made my decision! Maybe I should just carry it on....LOL (along with the kitchen sink)

Actually, we pack pretty light and this time since we're walking from the ferry to the taxi and not staying in a hotel I won't be needing much at all! Still, hoofing it across the parking lot, down the road and across the street to Executive is not my idea of a good time. I'm on vacation - relax.
