Was I just censored from posting the "Do not go to PDC or Tulum" thread on the general board? It actually is a come on for a very good review of the resorts mentioned....got to get people's attention some how.

Even though I planned on posting a very positive trip report, anyone that posts a negative report would be censored?

You'd get more attention with boobs on the beach. Why start off a good review with a negative intro? Why be deceptive? If anything it serves to turn off the reader.

I actually was going to delete the thread myself... however, I got called away from the computer before doing so... and decided that I'd get back to it. Seems Tommy had the same reaction and took care of it. And yes, moderators can delete or edit post/threads as they see fit.

Wow! I thought botb was a banned thread. My eyes are fully open now. Sorry for setting off all the alarms, but I never imagined that anything negative on this site was deleted. In short, we had a great first trip to Tulum and PDC and hated the trip back home and the depressed feeling we got leaving the airport....."do not go" unless you want to be completely depressed when you have to leave, yada yada yada. I will take the info on this board with a large grain of salt from now on.

chunky, chunky, chunk...don't be so serious...Tommy just saved a whole lot of fiery reaction from us Playa lovers to someone who said bad things about our beloved place without any support for that....don't change (or develop) your whole opinion about the board and all of us peeps by a bad start to a thread! We are actually quite a fun bunch with some pretty serious opinions from time to time.

I don't think chunky was the one being so serious. I think the deletors were. One should be able to start a thread out however they want. If the content is then deamed worthy of deletion, so be it. chunky's content, according to chunky, was going to be positive & he didn't even get a chance to share it. Probably the last we will hear from him, & I can understand why.

Its a shame people take things and twist them out of control....Most of you probably didnt see the title of the thread......I have been around this forum long enough to know that most threads with titles like that are no good.....I have a job to do no matter who likes the way I do it...I will not apologize for doing what I think is best for the forum. There have been many threads that were put up in a very poor posting style and things can get out of hand very fast....As Jacko said I was simply trying to prevent the reaction from the members.....If Chunky would have started the thread with a more reasonable title none of this would even be an issue.....I think it is silly and childish that people thank they can come on the forum, register, not read the terms of use and post anything they want to without regard to the rules or the administrator guidelines and then when someone edits or deletes something everyone crys and says Oh I was censored...this is a bad place......Its easy for chunky to say it was going to be a good review after it was deleted....Makes me look like the villain for deleting it....who cares...If chunky meant it as a good review he should have added some content in the original post instead of what he wrote....
