That kind of thing (a drinks tab when I don't run a tab) has happened to me (at another place). On that occasion the owner, without hesitation, told me to forget about the extra drinks. And so I still go back, however now I am VERY clear about the fact that all my drinks are paid for as they are poured and I never run a “tab”. This way there is no valid source of confusion. I recommend the “no tab” policy.
