An organization I volunteer for has mandated another dumb-a$$ rule starting next week. It's the typical rule that is created by people who don't actually do the work. I replied in an email about their new rule. I sent it to my immediate supervisor at this organization I volunteer for. The email I sent to her was not at her but at her superiors. I went into details about what was wrong with the new rule, and how people at my level would circumvent this rule, and I finished it by saying that if they didn't like it they could 'F off and find someone to replace me.

So today I spoke with my supervisor at this organization and she stated she forwarded the email to them, but removed the last line. She didn't want me to leave or have my volunteer status be removed.

Nothing wrong with a good boss. And she agreed with me.

Now you know why I'm not allowed at meetings.

I think Horizon handled it perfectly. I would have been fired.
