I may do something fun in 3 weeks or so just to get me fired up for the season. Then I'm sure I'll do a hard race in mid May sometime when I round into shape.
My chronic achilles tendinitis has been flaring up again so I'm going in to PT in a week or so. The only way I am going to break 7's for 5 this year is if I practice running hard, and I need a healthy achilles in order to do that.
So proud of you, you almost became a real runnre today. The first time it happened to me I didn't have gloves on either. Fortunately I was less than 1/2 mile from home.

Bummer that you achilles is bother you again. That sucks. I've been noticing a lot of tightness in my left calf when I run but I'm sure it's just a matter of me needing to stretch better. The rest of me feels pretty good -- let's hope it stays that way.
Looking forward to hearing about some of your races. Tonight, I documented all my races from last year. I kept all my numbers and wrote the date, times, pace, etc on each of them. I finally put them in a spreadsheet. Fun to look back over 2009. 11 running races, 3 triathlons (2 minis and a sprint). Tomorrow will be my 2nd 5K of 2010 and I'm registered for a TON more. Also, just registered tonight from my women's sprint triathlon in September. I'm also going to register for the Warrior Dash in NY state.
