Good, then I'm doing it right! Short strides on the balls of my feet, knees a little higher. The mental part is the toughest!

evil - I'd weigh 800 pounds if I baked anything yummy -- I refuse to bake because I love baked goods SOOOOO much!

I did my first brick workout of the season to day...kind of on a whim. Went to the club to swim. Got in a groove and finished my .6 mile swim and decided to keep it going and hit the tread. So a swim and a 5k run in 50 minutes with a transition!

Faster, shorter strides is what I've learned; and a lot of time on the balls of your feet. And I'm like JG: I like to be good at hills and that's where I pass a lot of people.
!
I've been doing a crappy job on the triathlon training -- where did all the gusto go from the end of last season! I'll blame it on two trips to Playa within 3 months of each other.

Nice workout! I need to get in the pool this week. The tough thing is Steve is without a car as his jeep is getting a new engine and we're waiting for it to arrive. However, the good thing is, I can run to the gym. The bad thing is I can't run with a backpack filled with my swim gear and a towel. Maybe I could ride my bike! Duh!

Looking forward to getting good on hills. That's a good strategy you guys have - get good on hills and pass people! I like it!
