Thanks guys, but you don't need to be rich to visit those places, just need to be in the region. And it's cheap.
I was thinking on going for a couple weeks and one thursday decided to give it a go, I left home before 11:00 a.m. and got there by 1:30, the toll road was mxp$33 each way, price of addmision to the "bowl/basin" was mxp$25 per person, to the hacienda was mxp$40 plus $25 for bringing a photo camera (videos $35 or $40 can't remember). The quesadillas at a little restaurant inside the park were mxp$5 each, I had 6 (yeah, forget about diets), big soda mxp$8. I spent a looooooooong time at both places and got back home in time for dinner with friends at 21:00. I tell you, it was very cheap, I didn't even spend mxp$300 and that is including gas for my car. If any of you happen to drive through the central part of Mexico, give it a try, I may even go with you, I loved the place. |

yup, more than beaches:
![]() ![]() ![]() The volcano is near Mexico city (60 km) and yesterday there were no clouds nor smog in the valley so I went there to have a closer look, The name is Iztaccihuatl (White Lady) - from left to right you can see the: head, chest, tummy, knees, feet.
