I forgot to tell you ladies what I recently discovered!
Anyone have really calloused heels? I always do in winter, thick dead yellowish skin...they don't bleed but I get the shallow cracks.
Well, I googled how to fix it a couple months ago and it said to try urea cream, so I did. I bought this kind, Uremol 20% urea cream- but any high concentration type will work, I bought this just at Safeway, $9 for a tube that is not even half gone, it goes a long way.
I started back in sock season so I put it on in the AM and then put socks on right away, and then again after my shower and then more thin socks (I usually ripped them off in the middle of the night, I can't stand socks on when sleeping).
It worked AMAZING....the best part is, it seemed to dissolve away the dead skin- no pumicing required, I maybe used my pink Scholls blade once a week, that was it! Now my feet and backs of toes are soft and callous free, and ready for summer.
