Towards the top of this thread, someone described a large palapa restaurant 1 block north of Las Delicias. I was in Playa last week and had breakfast there almost every day. It is La Vagabunda, and it is FABULOUS.
I had never eaten there before, and I have no idea why! The food is fantastic, it's very cheap, and the service is excellent. There is an Italian waiter there (sorry, I can't remember his name), who took wonderful care of us. And we are not easy to wait on, as we have four kids, the youngest of whom is 4. There were 7 in our group, but my husband and our 13 year old son ordered 2 entrees every day, and all the kids had smoothies. Our bill was never over $35 US. I highly recommend this place! It's my new favorite restaurant in PDC.
And I ate at Ajua!
