The vet we went to was a real top of the line place, it was reccomeded by a friend and we never went there before. They actually have a grief counselor full time. Make it a decent experience.
We already have an offer from a neighbor to adopt a 5 month old silver shepherd, unsure if we want to rush into another dog so quick, will see what time says.
Also, thanks for the thoughts it's really not something you can get emotional with the guys at work, a macho thing I guess.

I had my last dog who passed away cremated. I didn't have a place on my property to bury her. I don't like to just leave my pets at the Vets. Anyway, I received her ashes in a little container which I placed in a large pretty wooden box I purchased from Costco. I have it in my office at home. Later in this summer, I will bury in a spot that I will pick out in the garden.
