Pictures I Promised (Santa Fe)

I have put 4 pictures of some 3 bedroom houses in Santa Fe, as promised. They are in the Image Gallery (under PlayadelSoul), as they were too big to post on a thread (I am not so computer savvy). I am not associated in any way (except for living there) with the builder. I just wanted to show life on the other side of the highway.

Please keep in mind that most houses like this come pretty "Plain Jane". You have to put in window protectors, kitchens, closets, etc. Last I saw, these units were selling in the low 60s (US).

I will try to post some photos of the 2 bedrooms later.

Mark

Thank you so much for posting the pictures Mark!!! And thanks to everybody for all the information you guys post about Playa.
I'm new to this forum, and I'm moving to Playa hopefully within the next 3 months, so all the info about the city outside the tourists area is really helpful to me, specially to know what to expect once I get there.
Hope I'll have the chance to meet some of you in the near future, and thank you personally.

Wow, I'm surprised you can buy anything in Santa Fe for the low 60's. Santa Fe is a wonderful place and a spot we like to visit periodically.

Santa Fe as in the nicer tract homes on the west side of 307 in Playa.

Those are neat pics..and they look nice too.........thanks Playa...I like the "empty house" one - , are those 3 bedroom, 2 bath ?????

By put in kitchen, you mean, buy Frig, stove, oven, dishwasher ?? or you mean it is a bare room with nothing (no cabinets/counter tops/sink)

Closets...how do you put in closets ?? Add doors and poles ???

In parts of Europe, you put in your closets and you move them when you move - this remembered from a telly show about a home in Italy - the closets were very nice - it was a wall unit that included drawers, shelves and hanging clothes units.

I am sure some of our European friends here will correct me if I have erred

The closets are built-in shells. We had a carpeneter put in shelving and doors. The kitchen is empty with only a built-in breakfast bar. You have to buy counters, shelves, etc. (including stoves and fridges). A lot of houses in Mexico don't even include floor tiles. Fortunately, these do. Depending on your tastes and needs, you could spend an additional US$ 20,000 on your house. We have already dropped about 8,000 and still need a wall and patio.
