El Niteclub Gato Negro

While driving through the jungle from Tulum to Coba', I spotted a rather "large", newish building in a clearing on the right side of the road.

The building bore a sign ~ "Niteclub Gato Negro." A "niteclub" out in the middle of the jungle??? It wasn't even remotely near any of the tiny Mayan villages that dot this road.

That place has drifted into my thoughts time and time again. I assume the place must be frequented by the local populace who walk, bike, or take a Mayan "taxi" to party at El Club.

Has anyone on this board had the curiosity and courage to go to El Gato Negro when it's open? I'm sure it would be a VERY interesting experience!

Sounds like a strip club to me! And most likely they offer more than that.

Wow... a jungle version of the Glass Bar. Or could this be the location for that OTHER peepfest? If Mofi doesn't get there before me, I'll give you a full report.
