peep meet, wk. of july 18? anyone interested?

hi guys--my friends (incl. the lovely kalisun) and i will be in playa the whole week of july 18 and would love to meet up with some peeps, maybe at the beer bucket. anyone else going to be around and want to make a plan?

i am there until the 25th, but the others are staying through 27th i think...

5 of us are there until the 27th, however, our sweet julita will be departing on the 25th. so we could meet up the evening you get in but i know thats not always prime hang time as travel often takes it outta ya. if not, the rest of us would be happy to pass 'round the margarita pitcher whenever it's good for you!

It could be Julita's last night Big Shebang and Sendoff!! We get in pretty early (like 11 in the morning) and are coming from DFW so it won't even be a time change issue for us. We do have 3 kids coming, so it would have to be somewhat kid friendly-- is the ****** the one right on the beach with the fire dancers? We have only been to Playa once and did an AI, so we know virtually nothing about noplace! What would be your suggestion?

i like your thinking! the ****** is right on the beach and has the swing seats at the bar--that seems like a good place to meet up. the fire dancers are further up the beach at capitan tutix (but i don't recommend bringing kiddles there, really). how old are they?

8, 9 and 13. One is mine and the other two belong to my brother, who is coming as well. I was thinking someone on the forum (Shammy?) said they'd had a get together and had kids along and had seen fire dancers at the BP. I'll have to research that (practice using that search function!!) and figure out what I read.

We might poop out early, but we could start out there and you guys could keep going with it or move on somewhere else later. Is 8:00 too early?

THAT IS IT!! Those pics are tooooo funny! I know that I am nowhere near the fun-mother Shammy is, so I'm sure we won't have any great pics like that to post when we get back, but at least I know the kids can have a drink (and a smoke?? :p ) at the BP!
