Some Eye Candy for You Car Nutz

David and I went to a special exhibition of Ralph Lauren's car collection at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts a couple of weeks ago. I had to keep wiping the drool off of David's chin. Until I saw THE Porsche I want for my birthday... The car (Spyder) that James Dean killed himself in was there too. (Well, not THE same car....)

Enjoy!!

The Spyder that James Dean crashed:

Those are too cool! I will have to post some pics of my Dad's cars. He has rebuilt 4 or 5 cars basically from the ground up. He has a 30 Model A Ford, 57 Chevy (technically my Mom's, but he rebuilt it), 46 Hudson (I can't remember the year for sure and a 54 (?) Hudson Pickup. They are awesome.

I had to laugh because right under your last picture you have the info for the Nerak necklaces and etc. So it has the photo of the last car then "How to Order" You may get the hopes up of some car buffs!

Yeah, I guess that DOES look funny, huh!! But with those cars, the ordering might be simple, but the PAYING surely wouldn't be!!

Thanks, TBS! They were pretty spectacular to see in person. And it was great that they didn't have them all roped off, so you could get reeeeally close.

You're off by one year on the Benz. I added the description panel for that car in the pics above. If you want to see descriptions of the others, give me a CLUE as to their name, cuz when I took the shots of the description panels, I kinda got confused as to which one goes to which!! (Yup, I'm blonde sometimes....)
