Somebody help!!!
Dunno who's got the skill to do this, but they've totally hijacked our "Equal Time" thread. Now ALL the fotos have gone X-rated on us! Can somebody change this? I deleted the one from my thread (which was NOT the one I had posted!) but the replies still have the replacement pic in them!

Ya know, it's possible that originated with the site the pictures were posted from. Because only those photos from that site were affected. Maybe they deliberately switched out the picture that the link referred to. Guess that'll teach us to link to them! |

More often than not it's a result of hot linking. People don't like you hot linking because you are not only stealing their image, you are also stealing their bandwidth and bandwidth costs money. Bandwidth is basically the amount of traffic or number of hits that a site generates. When bandwidth is exceeded then a site is shut down until the beginning of the next billing cycle or until more bandwidth is purchased. So when you hot link to an image you are effectively stealing. I've had to remove images on numerous occasions because a member has innocently hot linked to an image and then the image was replaced with either a nasty photo or phrase. So it's best not to hot link at all.
