Jr suites at Quetzal compared to ones at Tucan

Hi everyone! We stayed in a Quetzal Jr suite back in April. We loved it. Now we wonder if the Tucan side has better suites or just the same. Any differences anyone knows about. Do you all have a preference what side you like to stay on ? Do the ones on tucan all face the ocean or would we have to request it?We loved that the beach wasnt as crowded in front of our suite at quetzal.

I have only stayed in the jr. suites at the Tucan side, building #10.
Rooms are all facing the ocean as far as I know.

Standing on the far right balcony facing the ocean there's a volleyball field on your left and the wedding site is right in front of you.
It wasn't that crowed on 'our' (Tucan) side of the beach either.

Hi there! Thank You for your post. Funny how someone asked the same thing.

We just stayed at Quetzal in April. We were booked for Tucan. I didn't know we had a Q room till like the next day lol. No big difference we loved the location of the room. The front desk assured us there was no big difference. It seemed to us that is was quieter on our side but we also went when the resort was completely packed. It was Mass vacation week. I chose to stay at Tucan this time but who knows where we'll end up. I just noticed that the beach was crowded with the volleyball net and wedding area and their seemed to be more europeans with speedos

and topless in front of Tucan. I hear the Quetzal books mostly euros and the Tucan americans. What did you think? So we will still have a nice view at Tucan? And plenty of room on the beach? I forget. Can you go closer to Gala and not have as many crowds? We are trying the last week in April because its cheaper this time around. We are still staying in a suite because we were so happy with the other one. You pictures look exactly the same lol. Maybe different bed spread etc but pretty much the same. I wish I would have booked airfare 2 days ago. US air just jumped $100 per person. Oh well we are all booked now and so excited to get back there!
