I believe they charge a cover on only certain nights. And I think it was $5 which included tickets for two drinks. I'll PM my contact at the BP to find out. Will let you know.

Am I the only one that noticed an inconsistency in the cover at the BP? I've been there three or four times and had different covers quoted each time.

Of course their could be several factors at play:

1) language barrier;

2) BP was usually *not* my first stop for liquid refreshment so I was already probably getting "comfortably numb;" or

3) some combination of the above?

Yep, 50 pesos to get in and they give you a ticket for either 2 cervezas (which are 25 pesos anyway) or 1 mixed drink. I thought the cover thing was every night, but they weren't doing it on Sunday. Not sure about kids. If so, you can stand at El Pirata next door and kinda see. Of course, the guards at BP don't like that!

Okay... here's the straight "poop":

Cover charge of 50 pesos starts at 10 PM on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and includes either 2 beers or one "national" mixed drink. Kids do not have to pay.

Here's the way I see my night going.

Peep meet from 8pm - 10:30pm

Fire dance @ BP 10:45 - 11:45 (optional)

Back to Peep meet or wherever everyone decides to go for the rest of the evening.

If the Peep meet is going really well, we (my group) may forego the fire dance until later in the week.

BTW: The Ramones totally ROCK. Always have, always will, even after dead and gone.

Henceforth all attendees of the Post Emily Playa Peep Meet shall append 05 to the end of their chosen user name in honor of the demise of one big wart on the ass of the playainfo board.

I think you may find that some of the peeps will come later than 8 PM because many in Mexico eat at that time.
