In case you didn't know, bring some extra $$$ to purchase some Firefighter
T-Shirts or hats from the Playa FD as it helps them purchase new equipment/fix older equipment. You can see the thread here that talks about those shirts and shows some pictures of them. Heather knows someone who knows someone who will try to be at the peep meet.

So are we all psyched for our trips, or what?

I've had a miserable month at work topped today by one of the most unpleasant days at work in my memory (which, at my age, is about six months). I generally enjoy my work, but had the kind of day today that makes me want to gouge out my brain with a spoon. I am currently suffering from the worst "Trotsky headache" of all time.

I told my wife that from the *minute* we get on that plane Sunday, I am rolling back the clock 20 years and I'm going to revert to my college years (i.e. dancing all night, drinking till I throw up, sleeping 'till noon and missing AT LEAST two classes in the morning).

I, too, have had a bad headache all day...not to mention the fact that my youngest is now running a fever of 102...right before I leave the country. Oh well, grandparents know how to find the hospital if it gets worse. I guess this will make us enjoy our trip even more than we were going to.
