I'll try to bribe some other folks that live in town to come along as well. And when the word gets around regarding the free drinks we'll probably have a lot of people show up.

Okay, in order to insure at least SOME money for retirement in 30 years, I should probably clarify again - first drink on me for any PLAYA PEEP REGULAR who stayed in town for the storm!!! I would love to buy a drink for every Playainian who weathered the storm, but alas, I am a man of Neiman Marcus dreams on a Wal Mart budget!!!

Stewart...that is absolutely lovely! Would you believe, the last reason I was prolonging my trip to playa was that my business partner (now ex - since i'm leaving) had yet to pay me off...so...on sunday night...YES..the eve we were all holding tight to see what the next 24 hours would bring...my biz partner called all jolly and told me to come pick up the money in the morning!!!! talk about timing...perhaps a blessin in disguise, as was the loss of the palapa roof apartment in june...it's apparently very damaged...

i so look forward to meeting you and the others!

I will be staying at Club Yebo just down by the ******. Leaving this thursday now that I have heard back from the owner that all is well...pheeewww You know what I just realized I won't be there for the get together DAMN I fly back a couple days before it...oh well it was a thought. Maybe we can meet up anyways. Im in Austin TX and will be flying out from here. Great to get to know more people down there though...everytime I try to take a vacation or travel I always end up there instead~~ Works for me! So this trip is the 21st through the 28th after reading your comment again I see you don't get there til the 31st soooo maybe next time. If we are in town, I think I will surely be there for the bash. Maybe you could repost the list of folks attending so we can keep this thread active. Maybe if we asked James nicely he would let you set the thread as a sticky so it is near the top of the list. See as this is sort of a post Emily celebration, perhaps it could be justified on a one time basis.
