Gala Resorts

I have seen very mixed reports about this all inclusive.
I would like to hear from any one who has been there recently. We are going for a week in February.
We upgraded to beach frount and are planning on using there non water sport equiptment and would like to hear about others who have done that.
thanks

Gala Resort is great we have been there 3 times the last being Easter 02 and we will be returning for Easter 03. The water sports are fair :-? Really all they have for non-mototized is the bugy boards and the catamarans. The motorized sports would be jet ski, snorkeling boat ride, bananna boat all of which cost extra. The water in that area can be a bit rough at times so be careful. Have a great stay and the Gala.
PS, make sure you have written verification regarding your room up grade.
