No, you just need to start sharing! I've been told my pic looks like a lot of things, but, Moses hasn't been one of 'em, although, I have heard "Oh Gawwwd" from females in the past!

OK, I am back in action on the PeepFest planning. Tomorrow or soon thereafter I am going to call the Valley of the Rogue State Park and talk to them. This park is on the Rogue River.

They have three group camping areas, but they say those are tent areas. I will check and see if pop-up campers and trailers can get in the group camping areas.

Proposed date are in late July - they are in the first post of this thread. Will report back when I find out.

Please suggest other parks if you wish to. Do you think a private park would be better? This time of year, I am sure we will need reservations.

More later

Ron

On that page I clicked on Group Camping on the left side of the page. Look under Club Camping. Allows you to reserve a block of campsites. There are fees involved, and you need an exact count of sites needed.

Interesting concept. May take more management, coordination and headaches than it is worth.

Sounds good Roni. The only park in that vicinity that I have been to is Indian Mary, it is smaller and on a very nice section of the Rogue where rafting is very popular. I.M. is just West of GrantsPass and more off the beaten tourist path. I think it may be a Josephine County Park? Good luck and whatever you come up with will be a hit

Indian Mary looks great!!

Question for the folks - make your own reservations or try to do a group thing?

What about a mix. Try to get a hard count of those that can definitely make it (Guess that count would be around 5). Let others do it on their own.

OK, let me know who wants to be in the hard count. Hard count = you pay whether you show or not . If not, we'll send someone after you.

I'll call and talk to them. There are some sites that look big and spread out in the 30-42 loop if you click on the campground map - and one yurt there.

Not sure where you're talking about. I see the yurt, across from 32 is 53, 53 being a wheel chair site.

Maybe you need to enlarge the map. Or I need new glasses.

30 is the number of the yurt site. Number legend is to the far right of the window.
