Broad questions won't generate the type of info that I believe you are looking to obtain. It's very difficult for anyone to offer input or assistance, if you can't provide any insight into what it is want to learn. You've got to help us, so we can help you.

As you might have surmised... these types of questions come up quite frequently. Doesn't everyone want to move to paradise? I know I do. Our goal is to move to Playa someday... and knowing this we've begun to outline a plan that will work for us to make that move a reality in the future.

Here are some questions to get you thinking:
What kind of work are you qualified to do? What kind of work would you like to be doing? What kind of work would you be willing to do/not willing to do?

Do you speak spanish? If so, how well? Fluently?

What kind of housing do you require? Are you looking to rent or own? What's your budget?

If you can't get work right away... do you have enough money in savings to support yourself?
A good place to start your quest, is right here on the forum reading as much as you can... the search tool (top of page) can help you locate previous discussions on moving/living/working in Playa. Also contact the Mexican Embassy and find out the legal requirements for you to make such a move. Then come back and ask more refined questions and you're almost certain to get a much better response.
