Anyone up for a Peep Meet Aug. 8 - 13???

We will be staying at EDR, but would love to meet up with some folks for drinks in town.

We've only been to PDC once, so I'm not sure where's the best place for a meet. I liked the ******t last time we were there, but I can see that it may not be the best place to visit.

Open to suggestions of time and place.

Brit Chick & Co happy to visit ******, as I'm new to all this stuff, you must let me know what one must do (does that sound very british or what). Arrive 10th, but will take a day or two to get alcoholmatised, then we can hit the town and look forward to meeting lots of different nationals.

Dawn, will you be getting to town early enough to meet up at the ****** on August 10th at about 8:00 p.m.? I think ibanez wanted to be included will be leaving on August 11.

Bmar, don't get there til late afternoon, by the time we check in, unpack, deck out, going to be late, so my apologies, it would have been interesting and very amusing, us flying 10 hours from Gatwick, England, drinking from getting to Airport at 07:00 (gmt), drinks on the flight, welcome drinks, the list is endless (but well worth it), but more than happy to catch up next day if anyone available.

There will be lots of celebrating going on.

We'll be on our honeymoon! I'm right behind you on the birthday scale, ain't it grand being in your 40's?!!!

Actually the 40's have been pretty good. Ain't looking forward to the 50's though so I better enjoy this year since it's my last...no wait...I'll be 49 and holding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the more regular posters said it wasn't a very good place for a "peep meet". I assume because the music is kinda loud which might make it hard to talk. I personally liked the ****** and it looks like that's where were gonna meet. I've only been to PDC once before, so I thought maybe some else might have a better suggestion. That's all.

Is there a way to change the thread name now that we have a date and place?

Yeah, the music can be a little loud, but you're a lot more apt to get a breeeeeeze at the BP since it's on the beach, than stuck in the back of a hot bar. And in the dog days of August, that could play a factor!

I don't know if you can change the title of the thread, but you could always start a new one and just leave a link as the last post here.
