Some questions & tips for our trip to Tucan/Quetzal
Hi everyone,
Next thursday we finally go to the great Iberostar Tucan. We are really looking forward to it. In these days we are preparing our trip. That's why I've got some questions. We know that the Electricity in Mexico supplies a voltage of 110. Here in the Netherlands our Electricity Network supplies a 220 voltage. Do we have to get our own tranfsormator to change to voltage or do you have some other tips?? Or do we have to buy an transformator in Playa del Carmen or here in our own Village!?? Thanx..... |

I do not believe transformers are supplied by the IB Tucan, and I'm not sure if they sell them in their shops at the resort. If you can pick up one at home beforehand, then I recommend doing that. No need to waste precious vacation time searching to buy something you can pick up at home before you leave. That way you'll have more time to sun, fun, eat, and drink!!
Hope you have a great time!! That resort is BEAUTIFUL (have stayed there 3 times)!! ![]() |

When you're at Tucan, you don't wanna lose valuable time searching for one in Playa. |
