Palace or Playacar?

Honeymoon, September 11th to 18th.

Riu destination.

Playacar or Palace ($350 CDN difference) Is it worth it?
Please give me some pros and cons, that kind of stuff.

Looking forward to hearing from all you sunny folks.

We stayed at the Palace two years ago..I believe it is much more elegant than the Playacar for those romantic evenings...never stayed at the Playacar, but based upon all of my research, our stay at the Palace and everything I have heard, IMO the answer is "yes, it is worth the price difference"....unless you really, really want to save the money for something else....

I second Jacko's choice. Palace is pretty tough to beat.

I third that! We stayed at the Palace also. It is a wonderful place to stay.The people are extremely nice and very helpful.

It's your Honeymoon!! You're future wife will remember it forever! The Palace is fabulous! We were just there last month for our 31st anniversary. You can always go to the Playacar later when you have a few kids and can't afford the Palace anymore!
