I'll be in Seattle from September 28 to October 3 and am wondering if any of the Washington-state peeps would like to meet for a beer or two...

I been sunnin' at the Grand Coulee Dam for a week and just saw this post! We'd love to meet ya somewhere. Just let me know your itinery and we'll make somethin' happen come hell er high water!

Andiline, we're about an 2 hrs from Seattle & would love to be at a peep meet but that's our busiest time of year so probably won't make it, sorry. Donny the water is 74 on the surface, 68 at 24 ft deep & the salmon are startig into the bay here, better get the gear ready they're predicting a huge run in a couple weeks.

Just wanted to bring this back on... now that I met more peeps in Texas I am anxious to meet more of those folks.... most probable date would be saturday october 1. Donny, that okay for you?

I'll have to see how busy I am at that time, or if anything comes up, but I may be able to make it. I'm about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Seattle, so not too bad.

Hey, would be great if we could really put a Seattle meeting with some peeps together. For a location I guess I have to consult my 'Seattle guide'. We might meet at our house boat on Lake Union if we are not too many people and go to someplace else from there or something like that. Will send an email to my travel companion to ask what she thinks about it. If it's a long drive for some of you we might meet early on the day (about noon or early afternoon) and maybe go on a boat trip together or something like that... will think about it this weekend and come up with some ideas.

Would love to meet the above peeps, but with the wifes new job and a 9-10 hour drive i dont think this will be do-able for us.

What we could do is meet at our floating home at Lake Union (Monika wrote me she would be very happy to meet Playa-peeps) and then - after having had a drink or some small thing to eat - maybe go on a ferry to Bremerton together and then go on the Space Needle before/for sunset. Gives great pics if the weather allows... or we could do a walking tour together... and once it's dark go to dinner/drink one or the other beer someplace. Let me know what you think, we are flexible!

Monika and I will go to Mount Rainier the day before and make a whale watching tour to the San Juan Islands with the Victoria Clipper the day after. If anyone would like to join us there, please feel free to do so we would be happy to have more company.

If we start having rain, it might be worthy pic taking at Snoqualmie falls?

Still waiting on more reliable info on who will be there. At any rate, there WILL be beer for you.

I won't be bringing any cats... I don't have one that actually lives and the inflatable ones didn't survive toobin....
