So, now that Winni”Pig” Peep Meet - Mark VIII is history, it’s time to start thinking about the next get together of the Manitoba Division of the Mexican Mafia, for more delicious food, and wonderful fellowship. Yes indeed, it’s time to look forward to Winni”Pig” Peep Meet - Mark IX.

The final order of business on the agenda of the last meeting of the social committee was to determine the particulars of the next rendezvous. A decision was reached, and met with unanimous and enthusiastic approval.

Winni"Pig" Peep Meet - Mark IX edition, will take place at 7:00 PM, Saturday, October 23rd, 2010. And where will this eagerly-anticipated event take place? Ahhhh...that’s the question. We’re not going to tell you quite yet. Howzat for a teaser? You may rest assured, we guarantee you’ll be satisfied with our selection of venue, and you can be sure you’ll be “fed up.”

We already have the usual bunch of suspects committed to making an appearance at the gathering, but we’re looking forward to other locals joining our happy throng of diners.

Would you care to join our hungry horde? The more the merrier. There’s plenty of time to check your busy social calendar to see if it will allow you to make it out. Weekend visits to your summer cottage will likely have slowed down. It’s too early for your kid’s hockey or ringette season to eat up all your spare time. It’s not a real popular time to be doing much vacation travel. There’s no excuse for short notice making it a problem.
