If you're into service then the Lindo is definitely worth the extra price. My husband and I were there last year and the service is what really stands out. There's a concierge for every building, and they do more than make your dinner reservations. They were great for getting extra pillows, towels, etc for the room, or for fixing things so you didn't have to go all the way to the lobby and talk to the front desk. There were also lots of cocktail servers around the pool so you never had to get out of your lounger if you didn't want to. Besides you can use all the facilities at the Beach/Del Mar. We would go to the Beach's buffet because it was so much more fun than at the Lindo, even if it wasn't air-conditioned. It's a huge complex, but they have a shuttle to take you around, and if it's not there just flag down anyone in a golf cart, most were happy to give us a ride.
