Whenever Dallas needs another super bowl team, just let us know and we will be happy to help out with another brilliant trade.:p Is this still considered the worst trade in history? for the vikings I mean.

I don't consider one in a row against Detroit at home a vindication of my pov regarding Culpepper. Now two in a row would be another story.

Trog,

I hope you don't credit the NYG win to Mr. Johnson.

Not that the inept offense is his fault, he has to play with the same O line as Culpepper.

TJ,
I agree that Johnson didn't do too much, but at least he didn't lose the game for us.

O.K. we will have to let that one slide, just this once.

Good Luck Donny!

Yes it is true that he did not loose the game for us. But I find it funny how most of the games that the Vikings have lost over the last couple of seasons were not "lost" by the quarterback but yet Viking fans blamed the losses on Culpepper. The majority or the fair weather fans were calling for D.C. to be replaced because he has not been "winning" games for us. But when Johnson gets in there he is deemed a success if he doesn't "loose" the game for us.

All I can say to you now is, GO PACK I though we were going for the draft pick, but they may have screwed that up last weekend. So Monday night should be a good game.

I totally agree. The same kinda thing is happenin' here at the U of W. As the losses mount, seems everyone wants to change the QB to try to add a "spark". That's one of the dumbest statements. Fans have to truly watch "game film" and practice to truly evaluate any position. Let me ask this: On any given incompletion or interception, can you determine whose fault it was by watching? Hope ya didn't answer "yes" as you don't know anyones responsibility unless you're privy to their offensive schemes, play call and "reads". And yes, receivers must perform "reads" as well as the QB.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I don't think we are going to agree on the Culpepper thing. That's OK and I'm definitely not a fair weather fan - I'll be pulling for the Vikings even if they were to go 0 and 16 some year. I wouldn't be happy, but will still be there.
