Hi all,
I am heading to Playa on August 22 after our wedding on the 21st.
I have 2 questions:
#1...We are going AI @ the Royal Porto Real. Anyone have any opinions on this resort?
#2... Also neither of us have been to Mexico before. Can anyone tell me what to definately not forget to pack? Or give me any advise on how to have a great time with no issues??

#1 Go to AI/Big Resorts forum and do a search. There is alot of info here.

#2 Bring sunscreen, a bathing suit and a tooth brush.

Congratulations! on the upcoming wedding! and of course great choice for a honneymoon!!

There is a ton of information about that hotel...I would start with a search and read read read.

Relax and enjoy yourself...that's the best way to have fun.

I think you made a good choice with the Porta Real. Its the only (I think) AI in the downtown area of Playa. Its just a block off 5th Ave. Also a short walk up the beach to Mamitas beach club. Make sure you get out and see some of the town. After the stress of the wedding it'll be great to just relax. So have a good time.

Off topic question...... Firechic, where in Washington are you?? My boyfriend and I were driving near Tacoma a few weeks ago and we saw a personalized license plate that said that and we commented on how cute it was, could it have been you??? SMALL WORLD if it was...

I live in the Bellingham area (North of Seattle). Probably not me.. I like it too.. My fiancee is a Professional Firefighter, I am a resident Firefighter, (how we met), anyway, he had them made for me... Thanks....
