And did you notice how they put up a wobbly wooden fence with an amazing (and undoubtedly costly) number of planks of the type for (ahem) covering windows during hurricanes, and then just a couple of weeks passed and they already have taken all of them down and put up a metal fence.
You have to wonder about the "planning" around here sometimes (and I don't use square quotes lightly, let me assure you). Steve |

That wooden fence was made out of 1 mm thick veneer and some of it was gorgeous! They left it up just long enough for rain to ruin it and it's such a shame.
As for the baseball stadium where the Commerciale Mexicano is going, talk about rude. The Sunday after the stadium was fenced in, my neighbour saw buses of disgruntled baseball players and trucks of equipment sitting in the San Fran parking lot, right next door. They had driven in from other QR towns to play and no one bothered to tell them their field of dreams was gone! |

Me LOVES Walmart!
I'm so freakin happy that we're gonna have it here, finally! I do feel sorry for those businesses in the area, of course San Francisco, right in the middle of the formerly known as baseball field and Walmart. Also, 3 Nietos, this little store right across the street from San Francisco, it was pretty cool I think, and they had to move half a block on 12th, but they don't seel the things they used to anymore, I think it's just a "papeleria" now. And hell yea, this Walmart project is going SOOO fast! If I don't drive near it for one day the progress is huge! I'm sure they'll be up and runnin soon. |

Commercial Mexicana, on the other hand, hasn't even started, as far as I can tell. |
