hot in s.w. arlington/mansfield
Holy egg-fryin'-on-the-sidewalk HOT!!! Just took our dog, Austin, out for a walk in the back pasture ................ ...... both of our tongues were hagging out!!! It's 101 with 29% humidity. I have a bathing suit on and I STILL was dying!! Wanted to jump in the pool ............ but I'm supposed to be working, and that just wouldn't be right? Now would it. Oh ... and to make matters worse ............... Austin didn't "DO" anything!!! And the pasture is as dry as a popcorn fart!!!!!

Is it hot in Mesquite, Kony?

Hey, I can send you some rain und cold... Tomorrow I am going to Switzerland and they had to close down train stations and streets because it's raining so hard... I don't want to drown there... I am just glad that I can swim...

Yup....Hot enough to boil eggs in the pool. Even the skeeters are listless..must be from all that hot blood.

I am still recovering from the trip to Texas... wasn't such a good idea to have to go to Switzerland immediately after the return and after lunch I fell asleep in the middle of one of the speeches yesterday. But the regatta was fun and when I told my co-workers yesterday during the workshop they envied me.

I would love to repeat but next year I most probably won't make it... We will see... Hope to see you in Playa instead!!!

P.S. The pope-hassle was not really a hassle. Everybody told me that the pilgrims have been great and it was a pleasure to have them here. I saw about a hundred of them dancing and singing together monday morning in front of the Cologne cathedral and I was really impressed. Part of me is sad I missed that very special occasion but the other part of me is glad I went river toobin instead.
