Best beach for little ones?

Looking to book a big family trip which will include 4 kids ages 7,7,3 & 6 months.

Reading around sounds like the Barcelo has the best beach for little ones in terms of a relatively gentle slope and manageable surf. Am getting discouraged by some of the reviews re: food & service there.

Any other resorts work well for little kids? The Iberostar ones seem like a popular choice but have read lots of comments on rough surf conditions.

We just returned from the Gala at the middle of July. Beach was wonderful with the little ones. We traveled with a 2,3,4,6 year olds. The kids club take children I believe starting at age 2--which was one big reason we chose the Gala. But in the end we never used it.

We come to PDC every year in late September for at least a week. We have always stayed at the IB Tucan (last 5 years) but after reading the posts on this website, have diceded to go for a non AI next year. Quilifications are beachfront, and close to PDC. If you have a good place in mind, please let us know.

But if you use that search function you'll find a ton of valuable info on non-ai and so on.

There have been many threads recently about non-ai.
