Best AI With Teens
I have been "off" vacation for exactly 6 weeks and 6 days - so it must be time to plan the next one.
My DH and I have fallen in love with Royal Hideaway, but don't want to take our kids there. I loved the service, good food, luxurious surroundings. We took our kids to the Grand Xcaret and it was some good, some bad and a lot mixed. I want a good beach (it doesn't have to be the best, but the beach at Grand Xcaret was a joke - and I thought I was prepared for it). I want very good food - consistently. I want good drinks (strong) and drink service makes me happy, but if all other things were good I suppose I could get my butt off my chair and go get it myself I prefer smaller (the GX was HUGE). If I had to pick my top 3 priorities it would be (in order) 1-service 2-food 3-beach. I thought the Lindo would fit the bill, but they were sold out this last vacation. Let the opinions roll in ![]() |

I traveled last summer with 2-14 yo's, 1-16,1-17,3-19 yo's to the Ib. Tucan. Some boys and some girls. None wanted to come home after the week was over!! Everyone (including the 4 adults ) had such a great time. The food is very good for an all-inclusive. The beach is gorgeous and the service is excellent. We have already booked out trip next summer but we decided to try the Ib. Del Mar this time.

Just to clarify - the Lindo was sold out for when I went last July - we stayed at the Grand Xcaret. I haven't made any inquiries for the next family vacation. I was just wondering if I should look at someplace other than the Lindo.
