The Dreaded Donny "Griswald" Family Vacation Trip Report

The Dreaded Donny "Griswold" Family Vacation Trip Report!
Ok, here goes nuthin'! Guess I just need some practice on them darned ol' T.R.'s! It's bound to get ugly, so don't say ya wasn't warned! (Go ahead and put the proper use of "wasn't" in the "Words that make you cringe" thread!

A little history:

Me, Beachbuns (yes Bumper, I said Buns again! he he) my son & daughter have been going to Eastern Washington for the last 17 years for a week of camping in the sun. Most of you might not realize that E. Washington is a desert. It is typically in the 90's to 100's during the day and hopefully cooling down to the low 60's at night. The last 13 years we have spent at the Grand Coulee Dam area on Banks Lake (a reservoir) at Steamboat Rock State Park. I call it our "Griswold Family Vacation" as there is always accidents, turmoil and pain to go along with the usual laughter and drunkeness! We've had blown engines, truck accidents (a good friend who always comes as well), Camper floodings, the Blair witch campsite, twisted and broken bones and near boat sinkings, etc., etc.
This year was no different. I will attemp to post a few pics (I may even use some of previous years as I haven't got a new digital, as I broke mine in Playa). So don't be expectin' anywhere near where Ginger has set the bar!

Heck yeah. Take off's of All in the Family.

Still remember a line from Maude. Grandpa (Maude's husband) is talking to his grandson in the morning. "Water that hits porcilen is quiet, water that hit's water is loud" referring to the kid peeing in the middle of the night.
(So Bonny is reading this over my shoulder, and asks why I remember this, and what does it mean. It means keep quiet damn it.)
