hi steve, thought that was you on these boards. Sorry playa maya didn;t work for me, budget constraints.Would have loved to stay on the beach. coming down for a solo trip sin chicos in September. then again with them for christmas time.

So, this is really interesting. there is a group on loco gringo meeting at LOL HA on the 22nd for happy hour. Why doesn't this group start there, meet up with that group, become a huge pack and move through town eating and drinking the night away? How does that sound to this group of peeps? Or should we just have Steve join us? I don't know how many people are in that group. But the more the merrier!
I am doing this blind, totally virgin territory. Never even been to Playa. But really looking forward to it. Am I following proper ettiquette here??
also having trouble downloading a picture. They say my files are too big! Is that a problem. Any help here?

Carady.... I think you have me confused w/ Steve from the Playa Maya. I'm just a steve! Lol Ha is a restaurant w/ a beach bar in Akumal. Very laid back...
Come on down, do some snorkeling, have some drinks......

Akumel is another town pretty far south of Playa.

I had the same problem posting my pics too. Thanks to Shammy's advice to someone on another thread I first put them on Shutterfly, then copied them from there to here...and it worked.

Yes you are right, I was confused. Now i see the light. so how far is Akumal from playa? How do I get there? Could we pick a different night for the meet in Akumal?
